Recipes	Coming up with good meals can be a daunting task, but it's also very rewarding when you do. Now that my husband, Michael, and I are retired, we've been trying out new recipes and so far everything  has tasted great! Cooking is great fun for us, and something we enjoy doing together. Gardening	When we retired to Florida from Nevada, we were overjoyed to find we could plant things that would actually grow! We have a pool out back within our poolcage (for those of you who don't know what a poolcage is, it is a screened-in area in back of a house that extends your lanai, or back porch. Here's a picture of our poolcage to give you an idea), and we've been having fun landscaping around it with palms, grasses, even catnip for the kitties. Disney	We are BIG Disney fans. When we started looking for where we wanted to retire, there was no question it had to be Florida. And we had to live close enough to DisneyWorld to be able to go whenever we wanted. Leesburg is about as far away as we want to be. We can get in our car, drive to the parks in 40-45 minutes, and stay for a few hours or all day, it doesn't matter. No more rushing around, trying to squeeze everything in because we're on vacation with limited time. It's so nice to have time to just people-watch!
